Delhi court on Friday issued fresh death warrants against the four Nirbhaya convicts and set a new date for their hanging: February 1, 2020 at 6 am. in yet another twist in the Nirbhaya case, death row convict Pawan Gupta has now moved Supreme Court to challenge the Delhi High Court's decision to dismiss his plea claiming that he was juvenile at the time of the incident. BJP has announced its first list of candidates for Delhi Assembly Elections 2020, due to be held on February 8. Kapil Mishra will contest from Model Town.

दिल्ली की पटियाला हाउस कोर्ट ने निर्भया के चारों गुनहगारों को 1 फरवरी को फांसी पर लटकाने के लिए डेथ वारंट जारी किया, तो एक गुनहगार पवन कुमार गुप्ता सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंच गया. दोषी पवन ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के उस फैसले को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनौती दी है, जिसमें उसको नाबालिग मानने से इनकार कर दिया गया था. उसने अपनी अपील में खुद के नाबालिग होने की दलील दी है. बीजेपी ने दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए 57 उम्मीदवारों की पहली सूची जारी कर दी है. बीजेपी ने अरविंद केजरीवाल के खिलाफ नई दिल्ली सीट से उम्मीदवार के नाम का ऐलान नहीं किया है.
