None shall pass the bog of eternal stench - Labyrinth movie vs Commodore 64 game

Didymus lets 'little fox syndrome' get the better of him as he fulfils his self-appointed (and pointless) guard duties.

This comparison would make more sense if 'Sarah' crossed the bog using the stepping stones conjured up by Ludo, but then that doesn't happen in the longplay used. Impressively for a 1986 game, it's possible to solve these conundrums in a number of alternative ways. The keyword being non-linear.

Here for instance, if you don't have the Firey leg to stabilise you (as in use it like a walking pole) while crossing the bridge it's easy to slip in. If the bridge breaks you have an alternative route across the rocks. This is particularly important because you can end up back here if you screw up elsewhere - the bridge won't regenerate, forcing you to follow the movie's solution.
