Ocean Temperatures
Hit Record Highs Conducted by several teams of
scientists, the analysis of the world's
oceans was published in journal
'Advances In Atmospheric Sciences.' It found that in the past
five years, ocean temperatures
have been the warmest ever recorded. 2019 "displayed the largest
single-year [temperature]
increase of the entire decade." Prof. John Abraham, via 'The Guardian' Warmer ocean temperatures
lead to an increase in
severe weather systems. This leads to more
flooding, catastrophic fires
and a rise in sea level. Prof. John Abraham, via 'The Guardian'
