Courageous man plunges into lake to save drowning pigeon in western India

Courageous man saves a pigeon from drowning in Sur Sagar Lake in the western Indian city of Vadodara.
Visuals show the injured bird trying hard to stay afloat but slowly sinking beneath the water's surface. Upon hearing the bird's cry, the rescuer plunged into the lake to save the bird, where he scooped the pigeon and swam back to the shore.
The bird was later taken to the veterinary for medical treatment.
According to local reports, the incident took place on Tuesday (January 14).
