The Statue of Unity has been included in the eight wonders by the group Shanghai Cooperation Organization of eight countries of Eurasia, India, Pakistan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia and Uzbekistan.

दुनिया भर के अजूबों में अब तक भारत का ताजमहल शामिल था, लेकिन अब सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी भी शामलि हो गई है। स्टैच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी को यूरेशिया के आठ देशों भारत, पाकिस्तान, चीन, कजाकिस्तान, किर्गिस्तान, तजाकिस्तान, रूस और उज्बेकिस्तान के समूह शंघाई सहयोग संगठन ने आठ अजूबों में शामिल किया है।
