Chicks Shredders Planned To Get Banned

Agriculture Minister Julia Glöckner and her French equivalent Didier Gillaume have announced that they will work towards a ban of chicken shredders. That sounds nice. Chicks look cute, after all. But wait! Male chicks? Sorry, as an unashamed macho I sometimes get distracted... The reality is that looks aren't everything (outside of dating, of course) and we wouldn't make as much fuss over rodents or fish with comparable brain sizes. There are no mature technologies to detect the sex before hatching. Alternative ways to reorganize agricultural production are certainly more expensive and low food prices are only a disposable luxury for the bourgeoisie that simply has too much money.
