Residents are baffled to discover a bull trapped on the terrace of an abandoned courtyard in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

The incident took place on January 3 in the small village of Tigadda located in the state’s Dausa district.

Visuals show rescuers lift the sedated bull off the edge of the courtyard's open rooftop and lower the animal towards the ground. To balance the animal’s weight and maintain a steady descent, numerous ropes were tied around the animal’s body.

Later, the men controlling the upper portion of the cattle’s body lose their grip over the ropes and the startled animal staggers and falls.

Fortunately, the distance was short and the mammal landed without any injuries.

According to the reports, the animal was stuck on the rooftop for three consecutive days and its helpless cries made the locals aware of its presence. The concerned inhabitants immediately informed the police but due to the tricky logistics it took time for law enforcers to enact a suitable plan.
