Bengal's rookie batswoman Richa Ghosh was the only new face in a 15-member Harmanpreet Kaur-led India squad announced for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia, starting February 21. The team has no other surprises and 15-year-old Haryana schoolgirl Shafali Verma will also be playing her first global meet following some good performances at the international level in her first season.

आगामी महिला टी20 विश्वकप के लिए टीम इंडिया का ऐलान हो गया है. हरमनप्रीत कौर भारतीय टीम की अगुवाई करते हुए नजर आएंगी. जबकि कुछ नए चेहरे को भी सरप्राइज पैकेज के तौर पर टीम में शामिल किया गया है. बंगाल की ऋचा घोष इस लिस्ट में शामिल है. हाल ही में खत्म हुई वीमेंस चैलेंजर ट्रॉफी में ऋचा घोष ने धुआंधार बल्लेबाजी की थी. उन्होंने एक मैच में 26 गेंदों पर 36 रनों की पारी खेली थी. इसके अलावा घरेलू सर्किट में ऋचा का प्रदर्शन सराहनीय रहा है. हरियाणा की शेरनी शेफाली वर्मा को भी टीम में जगह दी गयी है.
