A large piece of metal fell from a building in Glasgow on Saturday afternoon (January 11) as strong winds and rain hit the city.

Hope Street, outside Central Station, was closed as firefighters secured the cladding.

There were no injuries but local authorities warned of delays in the area.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning today for wind and rain across large swathes of Scotland.
