The demolition of Maradu flats in Kochi underway on Jan 11. The demolition process of four multi-storey flats at Maradu will be up to two days. The H2O Holyfaith apartment tower will be razed to the ground, followed by second demolition. The final round of demolition will take place on Sunday. It came after SC ordered demolition of 4 residential buildings in posh lakeside location in the city over violation of coastal regulation norm.
