Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had taken cognisance of the bus accident took place in Kannauj. He announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured. The UP Chief Minister instructed the administration to reach the spot immediately and provide medical assistance to the affected passengers. A bus carrying over 40 passengers collided with a truck in Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj and caught fire on January 10.
