US-Iran tension: Where does China stand?

Political scientist Jonathan Fulton says the killing of Qassem Soleimani is “troubling” for the Chinese government. But the professor at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi told the Post that he sees “no appetite among any countries in the world to see any conflict in the Gulf,” including from the Chinese government which has many assets and citizens based in the region.
