Thousands of caterpillars attack trees along the streets of the Graha Buana Asri housing complex in Randu Putih Village, East Java,
Indonesia on Monday (December 30).

These caterpillar infestations occur every year when summer changes to the rainy season and are not dangerous to humans.

The Probolinggo Regency's Food and Agriculture Endurance Agency said they will immediately review the location of the attack and make efforts to prevent spread by identifying the type of caterpillar and evaluate how they can overcome it.
