North Korean state TV airs video of leader Kim Jong-un on snowy horseback ride

North Korean state television has broadcast video showing leader Kim Jong-un riding a white horse through snow and into the sunset near the reclusive state’s sacred Mount Paektu. The footage showing Kim with his wife and several aides was released on January 2, 2020, and reportedly filmed in late 2019. Photographs of Kim astride a white horse on the mountain released in December 2019 were said to have been from a similar trip in October.
