Indian economy seems to be bottoming out right now, says DK Joshi of Crisil

With GDP growth languishing at its lowest level in over 6 years, the start of 2020 has brought with it 2 key data points that are signalling that the economy could be showing signs of recovery. The Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in December shows growth is at its fastest pace in the last 10 months. Another data point from CMIE shows that new projects have risen 37 percent in the quarter that ended in December and stalled projects are down by a whopping 81 percent.
