Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav told that Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi- Trains running on Kolkata routes will be exempted from the waiting list in the next five years. During a press conference, Vinod Kumar Yadav said that the Railways is working on three additional freight corridors in the next 10 years at an estimated cost of about Rs 2.6 lakh crore, helping the railways to free up existing routes to run adequate trains. This will get the passengers free from the hassle of waiting list.

रेलवे की तरफ से यात्रियों के लिए बड़ी खुशखबरी है..जी हां..दिल्ली-मुंबई, दिल्ली-कोलकाता रूट के सभी यात्रियों के टिकट अब कंफर्म होंगे...रेलवे बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष विनोद कुमार यादव ने बताया कि दिल्ली-मुंबईऔर दिल्ली-कोलकाता वाले रास्तों पर चलने वाली रेलगाड़ियों को अगले पांच सालों में वेटिंग लिस्ट से मुक्त किया जाएगा. एक प्रेस कांफ्रेंस के दौरान विनोद कुमार यादव ने कहा कि रेलवे अगले 10 वर्षों में लगभग 2.6 लाख करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत वाले तीन अतिरिक्त माल ढुलाई गलियारों पर काम कर रहा है जिससे रेलवे को पर्याप्त रेलगाड़ियां चलाने के लिए मौजूदा मार्गों को मुक्त करने में मदद मिलेगी जिससे यात्रियों को वेटिंग के झंझट से मुक्ति मिलेगी।
