A day after Shoaib Akhtar alleged that there were many who did not want Danish Kaneria to be part of the Pakistan team because of his Hindu. Pakistan's banned Test leg-spinner Danish Kaneria on Friday said there were a "few players" who targetted him for being a Hindu during his time with the national team but he never felt the urge or the pressure to change his religion.

पाकिस्तान के हिंदू क्रिकेटर दानिश कनेरिया ने टीम में उनके साथ हुये भेदभाव मामले पर खुलकर बात की। दानिश कनेरिया ने पाकिस्तान के टीवी चैनल 'समां' से बात करते हुए बताया कि जब वो पाकिस्तान के लिए खेलते थे, तो टीम के खिलाड़ी उनके साथ धर्म को लेकर भेदभाव करते थे, लेकिन उन्हें कभी धर्म बदलने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ी और ना ही उन्हें इस बात का दबाव महसूस हुआ.
