Anti-CAA Violence: UP Govt sends notice to rioters seeking recovery for damage of public property

Uttar Pradesh Government sent a notice to rioters who were involved in violent protest against Citizenship (Amendment) Act in Lucknow on December 19. Government seeks to recover damages to the tunes of over Rs 2 crore of public property during the protest. Notices were sent to 42 rioters in Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced that violent protestors will be dealt with seriously and their property will be seized.
