The European attraction "Parade of Lights" has come to the Brazillian city of Sao Paulo to spread festive cheer on Monday (December 23).

Footage shows multiple parades where performers are dressed as different characters with hundreds of lightbulbs attached to them.

One parade featured 60 characters parading through the streets, each carrying 200 to 400 LED lights in their own clothes, totalling about 20,000 light bulbs on the march.

The Parade of Light has been an attraction in European cities for over 15 years.
