Excellent Review
Let me start by saying that I am deathly fearful of the dentist and have been since I was 5-10 years old, as I had very bad teeth as a child. I decided to try going back to the dentist after a 15 to 17 year hiatus( I hated it that much). My wife and two daughter started seeing Dr. Chen and Dr. Cao at Arbor View Dental Group and gave glowing recommendations about their treatment and the skill of the dentists. They had been to a few different dentist over the years and said that they are by far the best that they had been to before and since our move from San Jose. So I decided to give them a try. Well, I was extremely nervous at my first visit since it had been do long since my last visit. Dr. Chen was extremely comforting and asked me specifically what my fear was about dental work ( this was the first time any dentist had shown a concern for my fear), I stated that the pain and fear came from the initial injection of Novocain and I explained that the prolonged shot was extremely painful to me and was the root of my fear. He explained the way he could alleviate some of that pain by administering a small amount around the injection site and give me a small amount in a first injection and administer the rest of the Novocain after the initial shot started to kick-in. Well low and behold it worked with minimal pain. I have seen the Dr. many times since as I have had to have three crowns and also two to three fillings replaced and now when I go, I know it will not be too painful as before. The dentist , dental assistants, Hygienist and the office staff are top notch and very thorough on explaining the procedure and what I should expect to feel and experience before the procedures. The best dentist I have ever been to, and they genuinely care and show interest in my whole family as people not just dental patients. The DVDs while getting ...
