MPAJ to be upgraded to city hall by the end of 2020

The Housing and Local Government Ministry announced that the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) will be upgraded to a city hall by the end of 2020.
Its minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, who is also Ampang MP, said this after launching the “Senario Ampang” and “Laman Santai Ampang Point” on Friday night.
Currently, there are three other city councils in Selangor. Petaling Jaya City Council achieved the status in 2006 and Shah Alam City Council in 2010 while the Subang Jaya received its city council status recently.
