Supreme Court has rejected review petition of Akshay Kumar Singh, one of the convicts in the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case on Dec 18. Nirbhaya’s Father, Badrinath Singh said, “Our journey was full of pain. Every single second was very heavy for us. But the Supreme Court rejected their plea. They had no valid point to prove in the court. But we are still not satisfied. We’ll be in pain until Patiala Court would pronounce its verdict on the death sentence.” Nirbhaya’s Mother, Asha Devi said, “We are hoping that the decision would be in our favour in Patiala Court as well and convicts will be hanged to death. We have waited for a long 7-year we fought this battle with full of patience. Nirbhaya will get justice now.”
