China’s first self-piloted cargo ship sets sail from Guangdong province

China's first autonomous cargo ship successfully completed a test sailing from the Zhuhai Special Economic Zone in the southern province of Guangdong to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge on December 15, 2019. The nation launched its remote-controlled cargo vessel project in 2017, and the ship called No 0 Jindouyun is said to be the first autonomous cargo ship in Asia.
