As per Pakistani Media, former Pakistani military dictator and former president Pervez Musharraf has been handed death sentence in high treason case on Dec 17. A three-member bench of the special court in Islamabad took the decision High treason trial of Musharraf for imposing the state of emergency on Nov 3, 2007, had been pending since Dec 2013. The high treason case was filed against Pervez Musharraf by the PML-N government in 2013.
