These two bulls were allegedly fighting in central India resulting in the duo falling down a well and being trapped for over 16 hours.

The incident took place on December 11 in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.

Footage shows the two bulls trapped in the well as rescuers go down the well to help tie them to ropes.

One of the bulls gets aggressive and attacks the rescuers as they try to escape the well.

A digger is seen pulling the bulls out of the well one at a time.

Finally, both the bulls are retrieved from the well and released from their entrapment.

According to reports, the two bulls were fighting when they suddenly fell into the well on the evening of December 10.

When villagers found them the next day they immediately informed the forest department officials.

Officials soon arrived at the scene, after which they worked along with the villagers who had volunteered themselves to get the bulls out.

After being trapped in the well for over 16 hours, the bulls were finally brought out and released.

The sub-divisional magistrate of the area, Hemant Singh, then gave orders to cover up the open well to avoid such incidents in the future.
