It is often seen that dogs cry more at night. Some people associate it with something untoward and some people consider it to be a normal phenomenon. It is believed that if the dog cries in front of someone's house then there is a possibility of a big accident in that house. Therefore these dogs are immediately banished from the front of the house. There are many scientific reasons behind the dog's cry, not just religious.

अक्सर देखा गया है कि कुत्ते रात के समय ज्यादा रोने लगते हैं। कुछ लोग इसे किसी अनहोनी से जोड़कर देखते हैं तो कुछ लोग इसे सामान्य घटना मानते हैं। माना जाता है कि अगर कुत्ता किसी के घर के आगे रोता है तो उस घर में कोई बड़ी दुर्घटना होने की संभावना होती है। इसलिए इन कुत्तों को तुरंत घर के आगे से भगा दिया जाता है। कुत्ते के रोने के पीछे धार्मिक ही नहीं कई वैज्ञानिक कारण भी है।
