Harvey Weinstein Accusers Reach
$25 Million Settlement.
Weinstein was arrested in May 2018
on charges of "Rape, Criminal Sex Act,
Sex Abuse and Sexual Misconduct for
incidents involving two separate women." .
He was released on bail
and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
‘The New York Times’ reported Wednesday
that the new deal “would not require the Hollywood
producer to admit wrongdoing or pay anything
to his accusers himself.”.
The deal will reportedly bring an
end to "nearly every such lawsuit
against him" and his now-bankrupt
Weinstein Company.
His trial is set
for Jan. 6, 2020
