The Indian Space Research Organisation, on Wednesday launched the country’s radar imaging earth observation satellite RISAT-2BR1 and nine foreign satellites on board its workhorse rocket PSLV-C48 from the spaceport at Sriharikota. The 44.4-metre tall rocket lifted off at 3.25 pm from the launchpad Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. After a few minutes, the PSLV-C48 successfully injected primary satellite RISAT-2BR1 into the intended orbit.

भारतीय स्‍पेस एजेंसी इसरो ने श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन स्‍पेस स्‍टेशन से सैटलाइट रिसैट-2बीआर1 लॉन्च कर दिया है। सेटेलाइट को पीएसएलवी-48 रॉकेट के जरिए बुधवार को लॉन्च किया गया। सेटेलाइट के साथ नौ और सेटेलाइट भेजे गए हैं। 628 किलोग्राम वजनी रिसैट-2बीआर1 रेडार इमेजिंग अर्थ ऑब्जर्वेशन सेटेलाइट है।
