40 thousand trees cut in Odisha for Adani's coal mine. About 40 thousand trees have been cut in Talabira forest in Sambalpur district of Odisha. Despite opposition from the local people, these trees are being cut for a coal mine. The number of these trees being cut is at least five times more than the Aarey forest.

ओडिशा के संबलपुर जिले के तालाबीरा जंगल में करीब 40 हजार पेड़ काटे जा चुके हैं. स्थानीय लोगों के विरोध के बावजूद ये पेड़ एक कोयला खदान के लिए काटे जा रहे हैं. काटे जा रहे इन पेड़ों की संख्या आरे फॉरेस्ट से कम से कम पांच गुना ज्यादा है.
