During the discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the Citizenship Amendment bill, P. Chidambaram made his point .. Congress leader P. Chidambaram said that the bill that the government is bringing, it is completely non-constitutional. It is our responsibility to pass only what is right, if we pass a non-constitutional bill, then later the Supreme Court will decide the future of this bill.

नागरिकता संशोधन बिल पर राज्यसभा में चर्चा के दौरान पी चिदंबरम ने अपनी बात रखी.. कांग्रेस नेता पी. चिदंबरम ने कहा कि सरकार जो बिल ला रही है, ये पूरी तरह से गैर-संवैधानिक है. हमारी जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वही पास करें जो सही हो, अगर गैर-संवैधानिक बिल को हम पास करते हैं तो बाद में सुप्रीम कोर्ट इस बिल का भविष्य तय करेगी.
