Administration started preparing the land for accelerating economic development in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information, the administration has started creating a land bank for setting up industrial units in the new union territory. According to media reports, land banks are being created in the state to attract more and more industries. The exercise behind this is that they can be provided land at a reasonable rate.

जम्मू-कश्मीर से धारा 370 हटे करीब चार महीने हो गए हैं, इस दौरान प्रदेश में जरूरी बदलाव को लेकर कई अहम कदम उठाए जा रहे है....प्रशासन ने जम्मू-कश्मीर में आर्थिक विकास में तेजी लाने के लिए जमीन तैयार करनी शुरू कर दी है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, प्रशासन ने नए केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में औद्योगिक इकाइयों की स्थापना के लिए लैंड बैंक बनाना शुरू कर दिया है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक ज्यादा से ज्यादा उद्योगों को आकर्षित करने के लिए राज्य में लैंड बैंक बनाए जा रहे हैं। इसके पीछे कवायद यही है कि उन्हें उचित दर पर जमीन उपलब्ध करवाई जा सके।
