Opposition lawmakers have accused Japan’s Prime Minister of breaking campaign laws after he reportedly invited hundreds of his political supporters to an annual state-funded cherry blossom viewing party.  Abe’s administration failed to make public the guest list for the hanami event, saying it had been accidentally shredded, leading to a scandal that has sparked angry street protests.
