Simon Taufel was one of the umpires who was supposed to officiate the Test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in Lahore in 2009 when terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan bus on its way to the stadium. The car with all the umpires, including Taufel, was caught in the crossfire and the former umpire recalls the tragic incident.
