Thousands of logs cover river after being washed away during Typhoon Kammuri in the Philippines

Footage shows huge logs floating on an overflowing river in the Philippines days after typhoon Kammuri hit the country.
Resident April Joy Manaligod said that widespread logging in the region could be blamed for the sea of wood drifting on the Abuan river after the typhoon.
The local government of Abuan with the help of residents began clearing the river last Friday (December 6) when the video was recorded.
The typhoon did not directly pass through Isabela province, but it is one of the areas that sustained massive flooding and damages when it experienced the effects of the strong winds and rain.
National highways are still blocked from the debris and huge logs that were washed up during the typhoon. Classes are still suspended in 19 towns in Isabela province.
