More than a thousand of rescuers and a helicopter were used to combat a major mountain fire in southern China's Foshan on December 5.

In the clip, the huge fire engulfed the mountain as thick plumes of smoke rise into the sky.

Since the pinus massoniana, a type of pine plant, on the mountain are inflammable, the fire has already been burning for over 24-hours.

More than 500 people have been evacuated, reports said.
