Giant Isopod Shows Off its ‘Under Stuff’ in Unusual, Seafloor Sighting

NOAA’s Ship Okeanos Explorer team spotted a giant isopod chowing down on a fish head, when they got a surprise glimpse of its "swimmerets." Isopods are deep-sea scavengers related to pill bugs and rolly pollies, and can grow up to a foot and a half long.
