While on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' they discussed reuniting for the franchise's third installment.
It’s been really special. We shot some pieces in Atlanta, and just people seeing us together on the street — there’s like this really magical thing with 'Bad Boys.', Will Smith, on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.
Lawrence also revealed that his sister recommended Smith to star alongside him in the original 1995 movie.
My sister… she brought Will to my attention. So, I called Will, and we set up a dinner and Will came to my house. Five minutes after talking to Will, he got the job, Martin Lawrence, on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.
Smith and Lawrence then starred in 2003's 'Bad Boys II,' which grossed $273 million worldwide
