Alex Trebek to Be Honored
at Canadian Screen Awards.
Trebek will receive the Icon Award
at the March event, which will
be held in Toronto.
The Canada native has
hosted 'Jeopardy!'
for 35 years.
Earlier this year, he revealed that he had stage IV pancreatic cancer.
Trebek has since
returned to hosting the
popular game show.
The Icon Award is the
latest achievement
for the 79-year-old.
Trebek also holds the Guinness World Record for
hosting the most episodes of a game show.
Additionally, he has taken
home the Daytime Emmy for
outstanding game show host six times
