Film description: 1) Off to eskimo-land. General views of a sailboat sailing through the Arctic. 2) Greenland seals. General views of a seal and sea lion colony. 3) Icebergs! Close-ups of the boat sailing near several icebergs. 4) A feast of walrus. Close-ups of Eskimos cutting pieces of meat from a hunted walrus. Close-ups of children eating. 5) A sail again. Now for polar bears! General views of the ship crossing through the broken ice. Close-ups of a polar bear walking on the ice. 6) Out goes the lasso. General views of a group of men in a boat and following the polar bear. Then they catch the polar bear through a loop. Finally, they raise it to the deck of the ship. 7) His new home. General views of the polar bear in the zoo.
