In the Dark of the Night Animatic

(Even though this video has a whale in it, it is NOT related to Whale Out of Water.)

Whale, Floof, The Birds, and Girl are my characters.
First video (the first from my YouTube lol) These obviously aren't characters from the movie, in fact, I’ve never seen Anastasia to be quite honest. I stumbled upon the song and thought it would make for a great first animatic. Constructive criticism is appreciated! Also I did make a mistake at 2:48 — it should be turning the other way, my bad. Was watching after export and didn’t feel like editing it again after drawing this all day. (...Also at 2:54 he doesn’t have his sash but I’m going to ignore that...)
Took me roughly 4 hours total; drew for 2 hours straight and then another hour or so of drawing, and then editing took an hour. I planned the sequence for about two weeks before starting any sketches. Made on iPad Air 2 using MediBang Pro for iPad and iMovie.
Next video will have most of my human characters. Just wanted to use my animals first, they’re easier to draw. It was a challenge posing them, though, since Whale has no arms or legs. Makes it difficult to portray emotions...
