This Thanksgiving.
Romaine lettuce from Salinas, California, has been linked to 40 E-Coli-related illnesses in 16 states.
Another outbreak has led to 75,000 pounds of salad products being recalled and sickened eight people.
A raw pork recall in Illinois has
been initiated due to the items
not being properly inspected.
Over 515,000 pounds of pork
are a part of this recall.
The date range of the affected items stem from November 25, 2017 until November 9, 2019.
In Mississippi, plastic has led to nearly 173,000 pounds of chicken fried rice products being recalled.
These items have the number
P-34708 and were made
from July 9 to July 11, 2019.
Besides the fried rice, plastic has led to a voluntarily recall of Cheese Nips.
The potentially affected products
are in 11-ounce boxes and their
"best-by" dates range from
May 18-20, 2020.
Plastic is also linked to a
cottage cheese recall
of 9,500 pounds.
These items are from
Breakstone's cottage cheese
and have a "use-by"
date of December 10.
In three states, blackberries from grocery store Fresh Thyme may
be linked to a hepatitis A outbreak.
The hepatitis outbreak has affected people in Indiana, Nebraska
and Wisconsin
