Cabinet to soon mull more changes in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code

Emboldened after the Supreme Court's Essar Steel verdict, the government is likely to make more changes to strengthen the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). Sources close to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) say the changes will involve cross-border rules, shielding the new buyers from frauds committed by previous promoter and rules governing homebuyers, reports Latha Venkatesh.
