This market is situated in Galiff road in the Bagbazaar, Kolkata. This market opens only in Sunday form early in the morning to evening 5 pm. It is a paradise of pet-lovers.It is located a few minutes from the Shyambazar 5 point crossing. From the crossing, one has to travel towards BT road and the market would be situated at the left side corner. The bird market is probably the most crowded area. There are different types of pigeons for sale. Here also cages, food for the birds are sold. There are also ducklings and hens for sale. There are many types of bird for sale like Badri,Love bird, cocktail,Java,Finch etc. Java bird price is 600/-per pair. Finch bird price is 350/- per pair.
