Christopher Walken Says 'Cowbell Bit' on 'SNL' Ruined His Life.
Walken's co-star in the sketch, Will Ferrell, made the revelation on 'The Tonight Show.'.
'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon was also in the legendary bit.
Ferrell explained that years after the 'Cowbell sketch' he went to see Walken in a play.
I say hello to him backstage and he's like, 'You know, you've ruined my life. People, during the curtain call, bring cowbells and ring them.
The other day, I went for an Italian food lunch, and the waiter asked if I wanted more cowbell with my pasta bolognese.
Ferrell added that Walken had a small smile at the time, but still thinks he was "really mad."
