American rock-pop band ‘Hey Violet’ is a Los Angeles based group that originated in 2008. Previously known as ‘Cherri Bomb’ was an all-female group but by 2015 had changed their name and their sound. Lead vocalist and bass are Rena Lovelis, Nia Lovelis rocks the drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, and backing vocals and Casey Moreta as the lead and rhythm guitar, and backing vocals. These three together make music through 5 seconds of Summer’s label ‘Hi or Hey’ associated with Capitol records. The song ‘Guys My Age’ released in 2016 put this group on the map and an addition to the Jingle Ball lineup. In October of 2019, they released a new single ‘Clean’ and a homemade music video that shows their creativity and commitment to their work.
