Meek Mill, Michael Rubin Making Big Donation for Philadelphia Schools.
Rubin, the co-owner of the 76ers, made the announcement on radio show 'The Breakfast Club.'.
Meek, who is from Philadelphia, was on the show at the time as well.
The "Going Bad" rapper and Rubin, a Pennsylvania native, are good friends.
We're actually gonna commit, between Meek and I in Pennsylvania, millions of dollars to Pennsylvania schools this year.
Rubin also made a $100k donation to 'Breakfast Club's #Change4Change initiative.
In a tweet earlier this month, Meek said he would like to build Philadelphia a "superschool.".
Since they got like 30 abandoned schools in Philly .... can we buy one and build a super school in our own neighborhood!.
I hang wit a lot of billionaires that really care about education .. “all we need is one school to start!
