Posters were seen at various locations in Delhi questioning state government and Delhi Jal Board over non-availability of clean water. “The Delhi Jal Board Chairman should answer how 21,88,253 cases of diarrhoea were registered in Delhi in the last four years if the water is clean," read one of the posters. The quality of tap water was found to be the worst in the national capital. Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on November 16 released the much-awaited report on the study of samples of drinking water taken from 20 states across the country, including Delhi. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Vijay Goel criticised Delhi Government over the odd-even scheme.
