100 Years of Fake Eyelashes
Take a look back at the last hundred years of women's false eyelashes. With the invention of the high-priced Kurlash in the 1920s, women eventually found quicker and more affordable eyelash extensions in the 1930s. In the 1950s film stars influenced a more doe-eyed look, by the 1970s women went for a less dramatic mascara from Maybelline, but by the turn of the century wild lashes became so popular that "lash bars" open up to meet the demand for lash creativity.
