Rescuers save dog in India with head trapped in plastic container for TEN days

Rescuers in south India helped a dog get its head out of a plastic water container that it had been trapped in for at least ten days.

The incident took place on November 17 in Attapur, in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana.

Visuals show the dog with its head stuck in the water container as rescuers try to remove the vessel from the flailing canine, before it was freed and ran off.

According to reports, the individuals are a part of the Animal Warriors Conservation Society which is an animal rescue organisation.

They were informed that a dog had its head stuck in a plastic container for at least 10 days.

Upon receiving the report, they rushed to the area and searched for the dog's whereabouts for about 5 and a half hours before finding it.
