Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on November 16 took a critical stand on state of journalism in the country. During an event he said, sensational news means senseless news and core values of journalism are getting eroded. “Sensationalism has become order of the day, sensational news means senseless news. With Business groups, political parties and personalities setting up TV channels and newspapers to further their interests, core values of journalism are getting eroded,” said Naidu.
